A Tour Around Little Bug's Nursery

I hope you are ready for picture overload; a ton of elephants and a hint of pink. I am so excited to share Little Bit's nursery today, or as you can tell from some of the touches in the room, Little Miss "G." I am still undecided on when will be the right time to share her name and if I will. We shall see about that later. ;)

For any first time visitors, you should know that originally this room was going to have no theme. I just wanted a simple nursery that didn't scream a particular theme or character. Along the way I decided to add a touch of elephants after my late granny who adored elephants and had a collection that consisted of over 1,000 porcelain elephants. Eventually the room sort of evolved into this along the way after lots of Etsy/Hobby Lobby/ and boutique purchases.

The bedding and lamp has been picked out since I was roughly 8-10 weeks pregnant and was going to be the bedding for a girl or boy. Once I found out Little Bit was a girl, I just added the pink sheets. At the bottom of the post you will find sources and tidbits about inspiration from certain items. Etsy was a true miracle worker while planning this nursery over the last nine months. I can't wait for my Princess to see it! Hope you enjoy!

This is also going to last awhile -- not too babyish and great for toddler bedding}

What do you think about Little Bug's nursery?
I am very pleased at how it turned out. It may be tiny,
but it's perfect for the next year until we move.
I put a lot of thought into this little room. Love it.
