7 Valentine's Activities and Crafts to Do With Your Kids
It’s my favorite holiday this month (well one of them) and I am so happy to present a roundup of wonderful activities and crafts for you. There’s such a great variety provided here from some fellow homeschool mamas, who are presenting you with some beautiful ideas. Some of these are fairly easy and others require a bit more time and thought.
This is such a great time to let your children explore and create. Let them write all of the letters for their friends and loved ones, and give them all the supplies to let them create. With just a little bit of freedom and your guidance, your children can make precious keepsakes for the special people in their life.
And make sure to check out the wonderful mamas linked below with their crafts and ideas. Such great things to see over on their beautiful instagram accounts.
Happy Month of Love friends!
Natalie over at @mymountainwild made this precious Valentine’s mailbox. I am so in love with the sweet charm this craft has! What a fun way to celebrate the holiday!
My daughter and I did this fun “science” experiment for our Valentine’s craft. We simply poured a thin layer of whole milk into a heart shaped pan and dropped in a few drops of red food coloring. From there you want to dip a cotton swab into dish detergent and then dip the cotton swab into the mixture. The molecules from the detergent will start to “chase” the fat molecules of the milk by swirling around to meet together. It made the prettiest designs until it all mixed up evenly! We did it twice because it was so fun!!
Bobbye over at @wildwood_learning did the cutest hoop art craft with her little one. My daughter would love this. These make such sweet and thoughtful gifts or decor.
Leah and her children made these darling candles. I love the personal and natural touch these have. They would make the sweetest presents for friends and family. Check her out at @leahdamon
Britt over at @thesmittyfamgram always makes the most beautiful and unique crafts. I love that she infuses natural elements into her crafts and lessons. You’re in for a treat over on her feed!
Check out @suchprettyfaces for this cute Valentien’s shirt craft! Such a fun idea that your kids will love.
This is such a fun (and easy) idea to do with your little ones. String pipe cleaners with Cheerios to feed the birds outside. Simply hang from a tree and check to see if the birds enjoyed your Valentine’s Day treat!
