Our Christmas Card and Some Shutterfly Goodies

). I am SOOOO happy with it. Of course to me it couldn't have enough pictures on it. Taking her Christmas photos in front of the tree was so much fun and we had to have daddy help every bit. She was sitting up on a trunk and he was basically there to guard and protect her (and make her laugh).
I plan on doing a combination post later of her in every Christmas outfit possible!
If you haven't done your Christmas cards you need to soon. I'm bummed so far that we've only received two this year (it's still semi-early). Come on peeps, where's your Christmas spirit? I remember back when my mom and dad used to receive a slew of them while we were growing up, and now even they don't receive nearly as many.
I blame life for that. I know Christmas isn't about cards, but it is about giving and love and togetherness (and most of all Christ). Wishing your neighbors and loved ones a Merry Christmas even through a box of dollar store cards is far better than just posting it on Facebook on Christmas day. I know we're all busy and I know some people just don't get into the whole card deal, but don't let life overwhelm you during the holidays. Don't say, "I wanted to send out cards but just never got a chance."
It's the holidays and we all need to stop, soak it up some and enjoy the season. Yes there may still be a ton of unpurchased gifts on your list; there may be a crap load of cookies to bake; and yes I know many people work hard during this time of year. I just hope that everyone takes a second to do the things that matter and mean the most during this time of the year.
Sit back, watch a Christmas movie, drink some hot cocoa, write out your Christmas cards and say your prayers.
